During the seventies one of the most popular televison-quizz-programms in Holland was "Eén van de Acht", invented and hosted by Mies Bouwman. (In England known as "The Generation game, and in Germany as: Am Laufenden Band) Ever when this show was aired on dutch television it was quiet on the streets. At that time is was usual to have a live orchestra on stage. The Tony Nolte television orchestra excisted of the best Dutch musicians of that time. This record has always been in my top-ten favourite collection , and has the best renditions I've heard sofar of Wishin'and Hopin', Canto de Ossanha, Up Up and Away and Matrimony. Judge for yourself.
