Thank you so very much for the music. As always. But does this record have another title, too? I can't find it in my discography I got from the internet, and it seems pretty complete otherwise, listing two titles for 1968: ANGEL OF THE MORNING and FO THOSE IN LOVE. Any info, maybe...?! Thank you again!!!

@ obrian - This may have been compiled from various other Faith releases.

If you can believe it, this was a promotional record created by the Pharmaceutical company who made the drug Placidyl (ethchlorvynol).
This quote comes from the bottom of the Lp's back cover:
"All through the night, you and your patients can rest assured with PLACIDYL."

I can only imagine that Doctors were handing these out with prescriptions for the drug.

I'm terribly amused by the thought of people popping pills and dropping the needle on Percy Faith in order to get a good night's rest. :))

@ isbum

There was also a promotional Jackie Gleason album released by the same pharmaceutical company, but the tracks were especially recorded for it.

So it could be that these Percy Faith tracks are different recordings from those previously released commercially.

Wow! very funny, indeed... But that's intelligent marketing, I'd say. That clears things up a litte.

Thank you so very much again, and maybe there's a chance of other great fait titles like DISCO PARTY, THOSE WERE THE DAYS or DO I HEAR A WALTZ? I know, asking too much, probably...

Another question: Is there a Faith recording of the MISS MARPLE'S THEME? I was under the impression that I heard such a thing once, but on CD samplers there's always the composer Ron Goodwin's "Orchestra" listed. Any info on that...?

@allesandro: Disco Party and Those Were The Days can also be find on this site !

@ Mel - Thanks for reminding me. I'll look into that Gleason.

Percy's take on "Mrs. Robinson" is flat-out terrific!
And about everyone took a shot at covering it. :)
