Henry Mancini - Big Screen Little Screen (1971)

This lesser known album from Henry Mancini is a joy.It contains some of my favorite Mancini-composed tv themes like "Mystery Movie Theme", and something I had not heard before I owned the album, called "Life is What You Make It" that features a great arrangement of Henry's wonderful choral harmony. Even non-Mancini themes like "Ironside" and "Shaft" sound good once they get the Mancini treatment! If you are a collector of Mancini tv or movie themes, you should have this album in your collection.. Of course, any Mancini will be great. He hasn't put out any 'bad' music! If you want to walk down memory lane, or are just looking for some nice relaxing music, this would be a great one.
